President

Lise Meyer-Kobussen is the third generation to continue this family owned and operated Independent Insurance Agency that will be celebrating its 105th anniversary later this year. She focuses on a relationship with you based on honesty, integrity, and dependability. To Lise, you are not just a client, but also a friend. Lise graduated from UW La Crosse with a BS in Business. She has been with the agency since 1984 and purchased the business from her parents in 1994. Lise has been actively involved with the Wisconsin Independent Insurance Association, even being named their Young Agent of the Year in 1996 and serving as their executive board president from 2018-2019. Lise also is passionate about the Sauk Prairie area, serving on many board and committees including the Sauk Prairie Area Historical Society, Chamber Board, Village of Sauk City board, along with the Economic Development Committee. Recently, Lise was awarded the Wisconsin Governor’s Trailblazer award in 2016 for being a third-generation family owned business. At Lise’s agency, it begins and ends with the whole team focusing on what’s most important – you.

Jolene (Jonas) Sonday

Jolene is a Sauk Prairie native.  She graduated from Minnesota State University – Mankato with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education and a minor in coaching.  Jolene became a licensed property/casualty agent in 1999.  She had almost 10 years of commercial lines experience at an agency in Minnesota before pursuing other opportunities.  Jolene returned to her hometown in 2018 and joined the Meyer Insurance team at that time.  Her primary focus within the agency is personal lines and agency technology.  Jolene enjoys being back in the Sauk Prairie area and spending time with her family and friends. Additionally, Jolene is very involved in our music program as Vice President of the Sauk Prairie Music Association.

Chris McDonald

Chris joined Meyer Insurance in September of 2018 and is our Commercial Agent.  She has over 35 years commercial experience in the insurance industry. Chris holds the CPCU, AU and AINS designations. Chris is here to help you with all your business insurance need.  In her spare time Chris enjoys spending time with her family and friends, dancing, playing cards and pool parties in her back yard.

Diane Boettcher

Diane has been with the agency since 2005. She holds over 30 years of insurance experience. She grew up on a dairy farm outside of Mazomanie and knows farming well. Diane moved to Prairie du Sac about 10 years ago and has been with Meyer Insurance for almost 19 years. In her spare time Diane enjoys traveling, sewing, spending time with her kids and grandkids, and quilting for local churches. Diane can help you out with all of your farm insurance needs.

Ethan Kolnik

Service Assistant

Ethan was born and raised in Sauk City and graduated with the class of 2023 at Sauk Prairie High School. Ethan is currently continuing his academic career at UW Platteville Baraboo as he works part time at the agency. Ethan handles policy renewals and replacement cost estimates. He enjoys biking, hiking, traveling, watching TV and movies and spending time with family and friends.

Tammy Frey 

Claims and HR 

Insurance having you feel a lot of blame? Tammy can help your with your claim!

Tammy joined the staff in March 2024. She grew up in the Sauk Prairie area and graduated from UW La Crosse with a BS in Business Administration. Tammy has over 15 years of claims handling experience and 5 years in HR from her prior employment at an insurance company in Madison. She earned her Society of Human Resources Management- Certified Professional certification (SHRM-CP). At Meyer Agency she is in charge of claims, policy rating, and HR tasks.  She is looking forward to learning more on the agency side of insurance. Tammy enjoys spending time with family, friends, and outdoor activities. 

Tiffany Hayes

Tiffany joined Meyer Insurance Agency in August 2024 as a customer service representative but is pursuing her insurance license. She is excited to learn and grow in the insurance industry. Tiffany got a BS in Business Administration. She majored in Hospitality Management and has worked in many different restaurants over the years. Tiffany lives in Prairie du Sac with her husband, Roger, and their two daughters, Alethea and Lydia. They are originally from Ohio where Tiffany grew up in a very rural area. She moved to Wisconsin 8 years ago. Tiffany truly enjoys living in the Sauk Prairie area. It has wonderful natural beauty as well as lots of activities for families. Tiffany enjoys relaxing and hanging out with her family as well as her church friends. In her spare time, she enjoys quilting, crafting, reading and doing paint by numbers.

Joyce McEachron

Joyce joined the staff in August 2024. She grew up in Fennimore, WI in a small rural town. Joyce graduated from MATC with a degree in Business Mid-Management. She has experience in various customer service positions over the years. She is serving as our cheerful receptionist and Administrative Assistant. Joyce intends to get her insurance license soon.  She has 2 children, and 9 grandchildren. She enjoys photography, designing, crafts, hiking and working on her Etsy shop in share time. She also loves traveling to national and state parks and traveling TX to spend time with her son and his family.
